Colleges
There are Two Kinds of Colleges:
Those that Have a CICEM College Council and those that Need a CICEM College Council
Ideally, every college student should have some exposure to ideas supportive of our traditions that include religion, patriotism, free markets, independent thinking, strong families and communities, sensible domestic and foreign policies and, more generally, the qualities of self reliance, voluntary benevolence and good citizenship that Tocqueville found when he visited America.
We expect a special resonance with smaller colleges with a liberal arts orientation, but this may well be mistaken. College Councils for the larger state universities may find it needs a much larger amount to fulfill requested subscriptions. We expect to make practical alterations with experience.
Currently, the core gift subscription program for students is activated for a college when there is a minimum $1,000 pledge to fulfill requests as they are received. Larger amounts or a larger number of contributors from these much larger institutions. When at least five people have made a pledge of at least $200 each, a CICEM Council for that college can be formed, at which time additional educational activities may be added to the core subscription program.
Schools in bold and underlined have active subscription programs.
Schools* with an asterisk have active CICEM Councils.
